This dish uses the full flavor of pork pata combined with the carrots and potatoes cooked in a sweet and tangy tomato based sauce.
Tips
To keep the pork pata tender, you can also boil the pata in water at over medium heat to simmer, before frying. While boiling, remember to remove the scum that rises to the top of the liquid.

Ingredients
- 1 kg pork pata chops
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp onions, chopped
- 1 tbsp garlic, chopped
- 6 cups water
- 2 pcs Knorr Pork Cube
- 1 can liver spread
- 2 pc bay leaves
- 500 g. tomato sauce
- 2 pcs. carrots, peeled and cut into cubes
- 3 pcs. potatoes, peeled and cut into cubes
- 1 pc. green bell peppers, seeds removed and cut into cubes
- 1 pc chili (optional)
- 2 tbsp sugar
- ½ cup grated cheese
Cooking Method
- Let’s start by browning those pata chops in a very hot pan with oil over high heat. Then, set this aside once brown in color all over.
- Throw in the onion and garlic next then pour in the water, Knorr Pork Cubes, bay leaves and black pepper. Just bring this to a boil.
- Return the pata back into the water and allow it to simmer until tender.
- Add the liver spread, tomato sauce, carrots, potatoes, bell peppers and chili (if desired) then let the mixture simmer until vegetables are tender.
- Add sugar and grated cheese and stir until completely dissolved. And that's our dish!
