I. GENERAL MECHANICS
a. “SIGN UP AND WIN GROCERY PRIZES” Unilever raffle promo is open to participants residing in the Philippines only.
b. To be eligible for the promo, the participant must be in the legal age of 18 years old and above.
c. Participants must have properly and accurately filled-up the Recipedia sign-up page and have completed the entire survey link sent via SMS or the survey link in the social media ad, until they reach the Complete Registration page containing a Thank You message: (see section III. HOW TO JOIN THE RAFFLE).
d. By joining and participating in the raffle promo, participants confirm, agree to, and acknowledge that s/he has read the full mechanics of this promotion and agrees to abide by its Terms and Conditions and Unilever’s privacy policy.
Participants must have properly and accurately filled-up the sign-up page from the SMS link or the social media/digital ads link, with the following personal info: First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Mobile No., Regional Area (Luzon: Metro Manila, Luzon: Outside Metro Manila, Visayas, Mindanao), Complete Address, City, and other information as required.
e. There is no purchase requirement needed to join the raffle draw.
f. Each participant may only win once throughout the duration of the promotion. Should a participant get drawn to win more than one prize in the same draw date, the participant will only retain the prize with the higher amount. Once a participant has already been drawn to win in one draw date, s/he may not win again in any of the succeeding draws.
g. There will be several draw dates in this campaign, garnering a total of Sixteen (16) winners (see section II. PROMO PERIOD).
h. Winners will be receiving U-COINs credits identified by the mobile number they registered.
i. A DTI Representative shall be invited to witness the randomized draw of winners via Zoom virtual meetings in the stipulated schedules (see Section II. PROMO PERIOD), in order to practice proper social distancing protocols.
II. PROMO PERIOD
a. The promo period for this raffle will run from July 1- July 31, 2023. Deadline of submission of entries is on July 31, 2023 11:59PM.
b. Below is the raffle schedule, prizes to be won, and number of winners per prize to be observed for the entire promo period:
RAFFLE DRAW: AUGUST 11, 2023
1 winner – Php 50,000 Sodexo Gift Certificate
5 winners – Php 4,000 Sodexo Gift Certificate
10 winners – 10,000 U-COINs
III. HOW TO JOIN THE RAFFLE
1. There is no purchase requirement to join the " SIGN UP AND WIN GROCERY PRIZES” Unilever raffle promo.
2. Participants must completely fill-out the sign-up page and the entire survey, from the exclusive SMS link or the survey link in the Recipedia social media & digital ads. Each unique entry submitted is qualified once the complete registration page containing a 'Thank You for Joining' message appears.
3. Each participant may only win once throughout the promo duration. If a participant gets drawn to win more than one prize in the same draw date, the participant will only get the prize with the higher amount. If a participant has already won, s/he may not win again in any of the succeeding draws.
4. All qualified raffle entries have equal chances of winning the draw. There will be one draw dates in the entire duration of the campaign, garnering a total of 14 unique winners (see draw dates schedule).
5. Promo period is from July 1- July 31, 2023. Deadline of submission of entries is on July 31, 11:59pm.
IV. DETERMINATION OF WINNERS
a. A total of 16 winners for the various digital prizes will be randomly drawn on the draw date (see section II. PROMO PERIOD).
b. All winners will be randomly chosen by a digital randomizer in a Unilever-owned and verified secure system database (see section X. APPENDIX). Each participant may only win once during the entire promo duration in the presence of DTI Representative.
c. Participants should only submit one (1) qualified entry with accurate personal info. In the event a participant tries to submit multiple entries with the same email address, those entries will only be counted as one (1).
d. All qualified raffle entries have equal chances of winning the draw. Selecting Unilever brand/s in the answers to the survey questions in no way increases the raffle entries or the chances of winning.
e. A DTI Representative shall be invited to witness the selection of winners via virtual Zoom calls, in order to practice proper social distancing protocols.
f. A replacement winner will be randomly chosen by the digital randomizer in any of the ff. events:
i. if the randomizer selects 2 or more entries from the same participant, as a participant can only win once; or
V. PRIZES
a. Raffle prizes to be won are as follows:
1 winner – Php 50,000 Sodexo Gift Certificate
5 winners – Php 4,000 Sodexo Gift Certificate
10 winners – 10,000 U-COINs
TOTAL: Php 70,000 worth of Sodexo Gift Certificates; 100-000 U-COINs
b. Winners will be receiving U-COINs awarded to their mobile number they registered.
VI. ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNERS
a. Winners on each draw will be announced on the schedule stipulated via the official Facebook page of Recipedia Philippines:

b. Unilever Philippines, and/or its partners and agencies, reserve the right to use the winners’ names, images and/or video submissions for the purpose of any announcement or promotional, marketing or publicity purposes in any media without any fee being paid.
c. All winners will be notified via SMS or call or email from Unilever representatives and/or its agencies, Activations Agency Inc. (AAI) or Unilever’s U-COIN loyalty disbursement agency and developer, 917Ventures – RUSH Loyalty System, using the winner’s personal information provided during the submission phase (email address, mobile #, & home address) to verify the winner’s details.
d. Once notified, each winner has five (5) working days to confirm identity and shall send back a scanned copy of the winner's one (1) valid Government ID (with photo and signature) and re-confirm their mobile number used to register in the promo.
e. Failure of the winner to respond within sixty (60) calendar days after receiving the official SMS, call, e-mail and snail mail on the provided home address from Unilever representatives and/or its agencies will result to forfeiting the U-COIN prizes.
VII. CLAIMING OF PRIZES
a. Unilever Philippines reserves the right to conduct a verification process for all drawn winners before awarding any prize. Winners who fail the verification process by Unilever, with the concurrence of a DTI representative, will be disqualified. All decisions made by Unilever, with the concurrence of a DTI representative, are final.
b. Once the winner has been fully verified, winners will be receiving U-COINs account identified by the mobile number they registered within ten (10) working days upon receipt of notice via SMS or call from Unilever representatives and/or its and/or its agencies.
c. Unilever Philippines, and/or its partners and agencies, reserve the right to use the winners’ names, images and/or video submissions for the purpose of any announcement or promotional, marketing or publicity purposes in any media without any fee being paid.
d. SIGN UP AND WIN GROCERY PRIZES Terms and Conditions apply.
e. if upon audit and further investigation by Unilever’s agency, Activations Advertising Inc. (AAI), or Unilever’s U-COIN loyalty disbursement agency and developer, 917Ventures – RUSH Loyalty System, Unilever’s own project team, the entry was found to be fraudulent (e.g. multiple wins from the same participant using various invalid personal info, invalid email address and/or mobile number, etc.); or
f. if upon audit by Unilever’s agency, Activations Advertising Inc. (AAI), or Unilever’s U-WIN 2022 loyalty disbursement agency and developer, 917Ventures – RUSH Loyalty System, or Unilever’s own project team, the integrity of the participant’s character is in question and will conflict with the brand if he/she becomes a winner (e.g. user promotes nudity, profanity, etc. within his/her profile, or promoting behaviors deemed questionable by the Unilever project team such as threats, inappropriate language, and content); or
g. if upon multiple contact attempts by Unilever’s agency, Activations Advertising Inc. (AAI), or Unilever’s U-COIN loyalty disbursement agency and developer, 917Ventures – RUSH Loyalty System, or Unilever’s own project team, the winner cannot be reached via the email address, mobile number or home address provided in their raffle entry within sixty (60) calendar days.
VIII. INVALID ENTRIES / DISQUALIFICATION
The following shall NOT qualify to win any prizes:
a. Employees of Unilever or any of its related partners, suppliers, and agencies for this promo, their relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity, and any other party who are directly involved in organizing, promoting or conducting the promo.
b. Entries made by respondents below 18 years of age (see section I. GENERAL MECHANICS).
c. Entries that are made before and after the promo period for each draw are deemed invalid.
d. Entries that are incomplete.
e. Entries that have not been fully submitted until the registration form’s Thank You / Complete Registration’s page.
f. Entries that feature inappropriate content and language pertaining to threats, profanity, nudity, violence, etc.
g. Participants should only submit one (1) qualified entry with accurate personal info. In the event a participant tries to submit multiple entries with the same email address, those entries will only be counted as one (1).
h. Unilever Philippines, Inc. and its agency, Activations Advertising Inc. (AAI), and Unilever’s U-COIN loyalty disbursement agency and developer, 917Ventures – RUSH Loyalty System, reserve the right to verify registration of participants and the validity of entries sent. All decisions made by Unilever Philippines, with the concurrence of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) representative are final. No correspondence will be entertained.
IX. CONTROL MEASURES
a. Each participant may only win once throughout the duration of the promotion. Should a participant get drawn to win more than one prize in the same draw date, the participant will only retain the prize with the higher amount. Once a participant has already been drawn to win in one draw date, s/he may not win again in any of the succeeding draws.
b. Backup winners will be drawn to replace disqualified entries.
c. The promotion will be moderated by representatives of Unilever’s project team, Unilever’s Consumer Engagement Center (CEC), Activations Advertising Inc. (AAI), and 917Ventures – RUSH Loyalty System.
d. Unilever Philippines, Inc. reserves the right to conduct a verification process for all potential winners before awarding any prize. Winners who fail the verification process by Unilever Philippines, Activations Advertising Inc. (AAI), and 917Ventures – RUSH Loyalty System, with the concurrence of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) representative will be disqualified (see section VIII. INVALID ENTRIES / DISQUALIFICATION). All decisions made by Unilever Philippines, with the concurrence of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) representative on all matters related to this promotion are final.
e. A DTI Representative shall be invited to witness the randomized draw of winners via Zoom virtual meetings in the stipulated schedules (see Section II. PROMO PERIOD), in order to practice proper social distancing protocols.
f. All valid entries that reached the ‘complete registration page’ are received in the Unilever system database in real-time and includes both date & timestamps. There is a 2-day lead time for the ingested data entries to be pulled and reflected in the Unilever dashboard, for the DTI Representative to witness. Qualified entries within the promo periods are determined by the real-time date & timestamps.
