Ingredients
  • 2 pcs onions, quartered
  • 3 pcs tomatoes, quartered
  • 2 stalks tanglad, pounded
  • 1 pc 2-inch ginger, sliced
  • 4 cups buko juice
  • 1 cup buko meat
  • 1 (20 g) pack Knorr Sinigang sa Sampalaok Original Mix
  • 1 whole chicken cut into 8
  • 1 cup dahon ng sampalok
  • Season to taste
Cooking Method
  1. Start a new tradition by serving Sinigang Buko at Manok to your family. It’s not only easy to cook, but it’s also so delicious too. Start by getting a large pot, make it nice and warm over medium-hight heat, then add the onions, tomatoes, tanglad, ginger, followed by the buko juice and buko meat. Add the Knorr Sinigang sa Sampalok Original Mix then let it dissolve in the liquids. Add the chicken pieces then let the soup boil.

  2. Once it boils, reduce the heat to a simmer until chicken is cooked through.

  3. Add tamarind leaves last and season according to taste. See the reaction on your family’s faces when you serve this hot dish to them. They will simply love you for it!
