- 4 cups water
- 1 pc onion, quartered
- 2 pcs ripe native tomatoes, quartered
- 1 pc medium sized gabi, peeled and quartered
- 1 pc medium sized raddish, peeled and sliced
- 5 strings sitaw, sliced into 2 and ½-inch pieces
- 2 pcs okra, sliced in half
- 1 (20g) pack Knorr Sinigang sa Sampalok Mix Original
- 1/2 kg left-over lechon, cut into serving size
- 1 bundle kangkong, cut into 2-inch pieces
- 1 pc siling pang-sigang
Cooking Method
- Let’s begin by boiling 4 cups of water and adding the onions, tomatoes and gabi. Cook until the gabi is tender.
- Mash half of the gabi to thicken the broth then just throw in the radish, sitaw and okra. Allow to simmer for 2 minutes.
- Pour the contents of Knorr Sinigang sa Sampalok Mix Original then just allow to simmer before adding the lechon, kangkong and sili. Just wait for another 2-5 minutes and this dish is done!
- What can be more joyful to eat than lechon and sinigang in one dish. It’s truly delicious!
