Chorizo Rice with Mushroom and Egg Recipe
This fried rice recipe combines the flavors of sweet and salty chorizo, fresh flavors of mushroom and egg, infused with garlic, onion and pork aromatics.
For nicer consistency with the fried rice, use cold and leftover rice instead of newly cooked rice. It will be easier to separate and decrease the chances of rice being mushy and lumpy.
- 4 tbsp cooking oil
- 1 pc onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 pcs chorizo, sliced
- 1 pc Knorr pork cube
- 4 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 2 pcs eggs, scrambled
- Begin by grabbing a pan and making it nice and hot. Pour some oil and throw in the onion and garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent and the garlic is golden in color before adding the chorizo.
- Next, sauté and break the Knorr Pork Cube into smaller pieces and mix this into the pan with the rice, until well incorporated.
- For the last step, mix in the mushrooms and scrambled eggs and this dish is done.
