Quick & Easy Sheet Pan PIzza Crust for Your Vegetarian Pizzas

Ingredients for Your Pizza Crust:

  • 2 ¼ tsp instant yeast
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp white sugar
  • 1 ½ tbsp olive oil, divided
  • ½ tsp iodized salt
  • 2 4 cups all purpose flour

How to Make A Sheet Pan Pizza:

Step 1: In a medium sized bowl, combine yeast, water, 1 tbsp olive oil, and sugar. Mix to combine.

Step 2: Add the salt and flour and mix with a sturdy spatula.

Step 3: Take out of the bowl and knead on a floured surface for 1-2 minutes or until the dough feels smooth and elastic. Make sure to not over knead the dough as it can result in a tough crust.

Step 4: Drizzle ½ tsp olive oil all over the dough and place in a bowl. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and allow it to rest for 15 minutes.

Step 5: While the dough is resting, preheat your oven to 425ºF or 220ºC

Step 6: When the dough is ready, pour the remaining 1 tsp of olive oil on a 9x13” sheet pan and spread, making sure to cover the entire surface.

Step 7: Place the dough on the pan and use your hands to spread and press it on the bottom and slightly up the sides of the pan.

Step 8: Top with your chosen vegetarian toppings and bake for 10-12 minutes in your preheated oven or until the edges are golden brown and puffy.
